My name is Brandon Whitford, and I am a Graphic Designer, Photographer, Videographer, Illustrator, Idea Farmer, & Family man.  I live in San Angelo, TX with my beautiful wife and two precious little boys. Currently, I work in communications and marketing at Angelo State University where I produce photo and video content for the purpose of branding the university.

Over the last decade I have had the privilege to work in many areas of the creative realm. I've worked in TV stations operating cameras/audio, maintained studio sets/lighting, and produced various forms of advertising in the creative services. I've also worked in photography studios, design firms, and owned my own businesses of the same nature. The creative arts have always been a huge passion of mine and it's what eventually led me to obtain my B.F.A. w/ Specialization in Graphic Design at Angelo State University. 

I believe it is our creative duty to continue to advance the way we communicate through art, building on the shoulders of all the great artists that have come before us, holding true to what the essence of art truly is; whether it's through photography, videography, or graphic design. Marchel DuChamp, an artist in Germany during World War 1 lived by the philosophy that art in it's purest from can be as simple as taking something you see everyday and presenting it from a perspective you've never seen it before. It isn't always about how technical and elaborate we can make something but rather how simply can we communicate a message that provokes a deeply felt response. 

Art is, and always will be what we look back to and define a generation; whether it be in advertising or the fine arts. My personal goal is to make art that provokes a response, create branding that represents the client's purpose and personality, take photographs that capture the essence of a moment, and shoot films that tell a story.
